Inventory Control Manager – Central New England |

Our client is a leading well established designer and importer of consumer products sold through mass market, department store and specialty store chains nationally. This company has grown significantly over the span of only a few years to become the dominant player in it’s product category. |
THE POSITION: |
The selected candidate will plan, schedule, and manage inventory transactions between company facilities including company owned overseas manufacturing locations, suppliers, and third party distributors. Will continually improve existing inventory management procedures and will take action daily to resolve any negative inventory positioning. Will meet regularly with interested parties and warehouse staff and perform cycle counts and audits as needed in specific areas of distribution. Will monitor movement of product daily in a large heavy volume SKU pick and pack distribution operation and ensure that the distribution staff is trained and well versed in proper inventory management procedures. |
THE CANDIDATE: |
The successful candidate should have a BSBA along with 3-5 years of progressive inventory control experience in a highly automated high volume SKU pick and pack distribution operation. Must be analytical and have superb communication and project management skills. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products and WMS. Should be a promotable candidate ready to continue building a distinguished career within distribution and supply chain management. |
